Landfill engineering

Barr Surfacing & Civil Engineering have extensive experience of landfill engineering works over the past ten years.

During this time we have designed and constructed several landfill cells which include muck-shift volumes up to 90,000 m³.

All surveying, earthworks and drainage works are carried out by our own experienced engineers and operatives who are able to identify suitable clay for use in the cell base.

Barr work in partnership with environmental design consultants, specialist geomembrane contractors and SEPA to deliver these projects, which are often in SSSI locations.
