Supply of precast concrete bridge parapets on various sections of this major interlink project  

Solway Precast supplied precast concrete to the M74 Interlink Project in Glasgow.  We manufactured over 300 bridge parapet units to be used in the sides of over-bridges linking the M74 extension and M8 in the centre of Glasgow.  Each parapet unit had stainless steel anchor bolts cast in the top face for fixing the parapet handrails.

Included were cantilever walkway units at Bridgeton and curved column fascia units to Cathcart overbridge.

The concrete finishes were to the Highways specification.
