Barr awarded Framework Supplier Status to Scottish Water

Supplying concrete and aggregates to Scottish Water contracts.

Barr Quarries has been awarded civils material framework supplier status to Scottish Water Solutions in South-West Scotland.

The four-year agreement (with the opportunity of a further four-yearly extension) provides for the supply and delivery of all concrete, stone, sand, gravel and coated products to all Scottish Water contracts within the area.

The contract allows for material to be sourced exclusively from suppliers within the framework, and with a significant expected Scottish Water forecast expenditure in the area, should provide Barr with many business opportunities along the way.

 With such a strong presence in South-West Scotland and our ability to supply multiple products from single locations, Barr Quarries is in a position to showcase our ability to provide quality products and first-class service to Scottish Water and its delivery partners.  All of our quarries are expected to have the opportunity to supply one or more of the projects to be completed during the period.
