Barr Environmental accepts all types of metals at each of our four sites.

Skip hire can be provided to assist in the segregation and uplift of metals.  These materials are sent for reprocessing and moulting and returned into the fabrication industry.

Non-ferrous metals

Non-ferrous metals don't contain any iron compound, and are non-magnetic. These include copper, bronze, aluminium, brass, and lead.

Ferrous metals

Ferrous metals are made up from iron compound, and are magnetic. These include steel and cast iron.
